World Teachers' Day, also known as International Teachers Day, is held annually on October 5to commemorate the signing of the UNESCO/ILO Recommendation concerning the Status of Teachers. It is a standard-setting instrument that addresses the status and situations of teachers around the world.
We have a gift for language teachers to celebrate World Teachers' Day. Since most teachers like to blog and share with their community, we decided to help two language teachers build their blog/website from scratch or improve it if they already have one.
The gift is a two sessions workshop and you get to decide if you want to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript during these sessions or you want to use a website-builder like Wordpress or Wix. We will have a draw at the end of the (teachers') day. We will have one winner among Facebook participants and another winner among Instagram participants. The workshop would be in person if the winner is located in Montreal. Otherwise, we Skype the winners if they live in a different city or country.
To participate in the draw, like our post about Teachers’ Day 2018, and tag two teachers in the comment. You can find the post on our our Facebook or Instagram page. If you are not a teacher, you can still win the prize and gift it to your language teacher to say thank you. Just tagging them here makes them happy anyways.
