Happy National Online Learning Day!

Celebrate online learning!

Happy National Online Learning Day! Yes, you read that right! Today, September 15th, is National Online Learning Day in the US, but why not celebrate wherever you are! What is National Online Learning Day?

"National Online Learning Day showcases how students of all ages are thriving with the ability to learn online—anywhere, anytime. It seeks to cultivate awareness of, and support for, this ever-growing community of learners and to celebrate the future of online education—wherever technology and our imaginations take us!" - OnlineLearningDay.com

This year, online learning has come to the forefront of education systems around the world as we all manage health safety precautions with COVID-19. Public schools, private schools, universities, colleges, and language centres around the world are trying out online teaching models - many for the first time.

Of course, there are challenges that come with switching to online learning, but there are also some wonderful advantages. For many people who are unable to leave their homes, online learning allows education to come to them. Also, it is an opportunity for educators to innovate!
