One of the best parts of working with language schools is the amazing people you meet! At Demiks, we believe in sharing, so we want to share some of these awesome people with you!
Meet Marco Téllez, the director at Lengua y Cultura, a language centre in Mexico City. Marco speaks four other languages aside from Spanish (English, German, Italian, and a little French)! He has known since he was very young that he wanted to teach others to overcome language barriers. His main interests are international travel, ancient cultures and culinary arts.
“I believe when learning a language, just being taught in a classroom doesn't cut it...Choice of words, expressions and fixed phrases play an important role. That's why I founded Lengua y Culture to teach Spanish in Mexico City.”
To help you get to know him better, we asked Marco some questions.
My two favourite words are Amor and Amistad.
Day of the Dead. We happily commemorate our beloved family members and friends. We welcome them back in our memories and hearts every year. (It's a good excuse to party for two days in a row!)
Make sure to provide each and every student with the best possible experience they can get when taking your language and culture courses.
You can check out the courses offered and student reviews for Lengua y Cultura in the Demiks Marketplace. Can't get to Mexico right now? Not to fear, Lengua y Cultura is offering online classes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over the next few months, we'll introduce you to some of the other inspiring people from the language schools who use Demiks Language School Management Software. Did you know Demiks is on Instagram?
