We recently added a new feature so students can contact schools directly through our platform. The purpose of this feature is to allow students ask schools their questions without picking up the phone or worrying about time difference. At the same time, schools take advantage of it as a new marketing channel for lead generation.
In marketing concepts, a lead is the contact information of a potential customer who is interested in your products or services. Normally a lead goes through a sales funnel step by step until it becomes a client. But where these leads really come from?
Lead generation is the initial step of the interaction with a potential client that shows interest in your services. Lots of different events, activities, advertisement, etc. should be planned to make lead generation happen.
Consider a language school that plans to get more students. This language school organizes an event with talks, prizes and a party at the end. They also ask participants who are interested in learning languages to fill out a form. This would be a lead generation campaign and the collected forms are leads to follow up on.
Demiks promotes learning languages on its website and social networks. We spend a lot of time and effort attracting students to our website through search engine optimization, advertising and content production.
Students land on Demiks website looking for language schools in Montreal. They compare language programs on the website based on information provided by schools and reviews other students wrote on Demiks. Eventually, they enroll in their favorite courses or contact the school for more information.
First you need to add your school on Demiks. If it is already added by someone else you just have to claim it. Just find your school using search and then click on “Claim this School” button and follow the steps. If you want to know about other perks of claiming your school read this article about reasons to claim your school. After claiming your school, click on “Activate Lead Generation” button on your dashboard and accept the agreement.Monday, May 21, 2018
