The YMCA is a relevant school to learn any language because of the diversity of students and teachers there. My advisor (Alfredo) was always aware of what I needed, he did an excellent job.
The morning classes have been structured and enjoyable, sometimes fun and rich in vocabulary and conversations depending of the teacher.
The afternoon classes a little less structured, such as conversation, however, the pronunciation class was very good.
The teachers are varied and each one made a difference. Stéphane with his joy and dynamism, Shane with his spirit to talk and teach us new vocabulary through games, and Zeinab with the clarity of his explanations. Unfortunately we did not have a good teacher in the first weeks of intermediate course 3, however, the YMCA made the respective review and assigned a clearer and more orderly teacher in her explanations.
The location is excellent, central and close to the main sites of Montréal.
The physical space is nice, however, sometimes it gives the impression of being a bit small for the number of students there are. I liked the opportunity to go to the gym and some social activities organized by them.
About the housing, the first week I was located in a small room, not very pleasant, cold and without much privacy. Then they relocated me to a very comfortable house with a very nice and quiet family.
I'm very grateful for the patience my tutor put into his teaching method. I'm not that sharp anymore and I need repetition and a lot of practice. Specially with French language that is a bit difficult for me. At YMCA I got what I was looking for. Thank you for well recognizing my level and being patient with my progress.
YMCA is a very nice school for learning languages. Our teacher in level one, Yeucef, was really good too. The staff are all nice and helpful.

Really satisfied by taking the creative conversation class ! It's so interactive. My teacher (Mr. William Turner) was kind and helpful. I was able to discuss and build conversations with many students there ! Thanks YMCA !!!
